It is a tropical perennial plant native to eastern Africa, from southern Kenya to northeastern South Africa. Characterised by its thick, beautiful, waxy green leaves. The ZZ Plant is a best-selling houseplant because it can handle low light, any humidity and only needs to be watered every 2 weeks.
