The Parlor Palm is a species of small palm tree native to the rainforests in Southern Mexico and Guatemala. This easy going and elegant palm made it on to NASA's list of 50 indoor plants that clean the air. Not only this, but she's non toxic to pets, and you don't need to water her that often in winter. In summer you can make her happy by fertilising her every couple of months. Her nick-name "Parlor" came from the Victorian times as she was often found in this room in the house - making guests happy with her warm welcome. She may be small but she will bring a tropical flair to your home with her arching fronds.
