Story behind the names

Get to know our pots

With design-led living at the heart of our brand, we’ve created three contemporary styles in five fresh matte-finish colours and three different sizes in order to make it as simple as possible for you to pair your plant with a bespoke pot. Named after East London locations which are meaningful to Leaf Envy’s roots, function doesn’t get in the way of style, and each pot has been conceived with a minimalist and modern aesthetic in mind.

From humble beginnings on a canal boat along Regent’s Canal to our first shop in Hackney Down Studios and now our current HQ off Broadway Market, our roots are firmly planted in the Borough of Hackney with modern, design-led living at the heart of our brand.

Regent

Statuesque in form, the Regent is our most regal pot featuring a narrow base and elegant handles. It has been named after Regent’s Canal in East London where Leaf Envy started out doing pop-ups on a canal boat.

Dalston

Clean lines and cylindrical, the Dalston is cool yet functional as it has the added benefit of drainage holes and an accompanying saucer. We named her after Leaf Envy’s first stomping ground when we operated from a store in Hackney Downs Studio on the northern edge of Dalston

Broadway

With smooth rounded edges, the Broadway is a simple yet elegant choice for any home interior. The infamous Broadway Market which sits at the end of the road of our current HQ inspired the name of this classic pot.
