1
Find a stem
Choose your favourite plant or a plant that you'd like to propagate and find a stem or branch that has 2-3 healthy leaves growing on it.
2
Prune off the stem
Once you've found a full looking stem, you need to search for the node and the aerial root. The node is a little bump below each leaf which will produce the roots. Use your secateurs to cut 2 inches below the node.
3
Fill up your propagation display
Fill up your glass vessel 3/4 full with water at room temperate and place the new cutting into your propagation station, making sure that the node if fully submerged in the water.
4
Now...be patient
Display your newly propagated plant in bright, indirect sunlight. Make sure to refresh the water on a weekly basis or when it starts to become green and mouldy. Now to be patient...
5
Let your babies grow
Keep watching over your propagated cutting. We recommend letting your new baby's roots to grow for around 1-2 months. Be patient as the more mature the root-ball or root-system the less shock the plant will go throguh when you eventually pot it into soil. So best to let it grow for a while!
